Sensei Lotfi Saidi 4th Dan Shotokan Karate I was born in Tunisia and started to practice shotokan  karate at the age of 12, I came to England when I was 23yrs old and continued to practice Shotokan style. I trained with many different styles of martial art but my favourite style is shotokan. I spent many years competing in both Kata and Kumite tournaments winning many trophies 1st 2nd and 3rd place and of course losing some. Participating in tournaments is a fantastic experience and not just about winning. Taking part and mixing with people who are as passionate about martial art as you are is a fantastic experience. Just try your hardest, be focused and never forget there is always someone better and faster than you, so keep your mind open to develop your martial art skills at all times. |
